Where
memories
meet new
owners.

Estate sales, handled with respect for what came before and care for what comes next.

What we do

The practical
side of care.

There is no universal checklist for a life transition. We bring experience, a grounded point of view, and the willingness to meet you exactly where you are.

01

Estate sales

Sort, stage, research local value, price, market, and staff the sale with care for the people and the details involved.

02

Buyouts & online auctions

When an on-site sale is not practical or the volume is smaller, we help find a clear, respectful path forward.

03

Cleanouts

Removal and a broom-swept handoff, handled with discretion so the house is ready for whatever comes next.

A steady process

Clarity is a kind
of kindness.

You never have to wonder what happens next. We keep the plan visible, the communication open, and the pace human.

01

We listen first

We meet at the property, hear what matters, and learn what you need this process to feel like.

02

We walk it together

After a walkthrough, we explain what we see, answer every question, and make a plan built for this estate.

03

We do the work

Sorting, staging, pricing, advertising, running the sale, and clearing the rooms — handled with steady hands.

04

You get a clean handoff

When the sale is complete, we leave the property orderly and the next step easier to see.

The people behind the plan

Good work
stays personal.

We are your neighbors, not a national chain. That makes all the difference.

Why Cornerstone

Experienced hands.
Open books.

Cornerstone was founded by Ray Hoskins and Matt Stancombe with a simple belief: an estate sale should be a service to a family first, and a transaction second.

Respect for the story

We handle personal belongings with discretion, not spectacle.

Straight answers

Our commission is determined after a walkthrough, based on the estate — never a one-size promise.

The team

A small team
with room to listen.

Ray Hoskins

Co-founder · Client care

U.S. veteran, U.S. Air Force Pararescueman. Ray spent 13 years teaching high school history after earning a degree in Education from Ashland University. Later he went on to earn his MBA. He is a Mansfield-area husband and father, a beekeeper, and an entrepreneur who has built and run local ventures of his own. What he brings to Cornerstone is plain talk, a teacher’s patience with a house full of decisions, and the habit of seeing a job through to a clean finish.

Matt Stancombe

Co-founder · Operations

A Mansfield-area neighbor, coach, and construction-company owner. Matt spent 17 years with Walmart, growing from a floor associate into store leadership and multimillion-dollar remodel project management. He has more than a decade managing construction in occupied homes, and brings that same care to estate sales — listening closely, respecting what a home means to the family, and helping each next step feel manageable.
