Our team

Meet the Owners: Ray Hoskins and Matt Stancombe

Ray Hoskins

Co-owner

U.S. veteran, U.S. Air Force Pararescueman. Ray spent 13 years teaching high school history after earning a degree in Education from Ashland University. Later he went on to earn his MBA. He is a Mansfield-area husband and father, a beekeeper, and an entrepreneur who has built and run local ventures of his own. What he brings to Cornerstone is plain talk, a teacher’s patience with a house full of decisions, and the habit of seeing a job through to a clean finish.

Matt Stancombe

Co-owner

A Mansfield-area neighbor, coach, and construction-company owner. Matt spent 17 years with Walmart, growing from a floor associate into store leadership and multimillion-dollar remodel project management. He has more than a decade managing construction in occupied homes, and brings that same care to estate sales — listening closely, respecting what a home means to the family, and helping each next step feel manageable.

How we work

Respectful and Personal, Not Transactional

We live in the community we serve and we understand that the homes we work in belong to our neighbors and friends who are real people with real histories. We treat every house that way. That means listening first, explaining options clearly, and recommending what actually fits your situation, whether that is an Estate Sale, an Estate Buyout, an Online Estate Auction, or an Estate Cleanout.

Our commission is determined after a walkthrough, not by some “one-size-fits-all” equation, but by the unique characteristics of the estate itself. And we’ll explain exactly how we arrived at that figure.

Where we work

Rooted in Mansfield, Serving Six Counties

We are based in Mansfield and serve Richland, Ashland, Knox, Crawford, Morrow, and Huron counties. See our service areas.
